I am thankful that the peace of God transcends all understanding. Without God’s peace, life in this world, filled with turmoil and sickness, would be a lot more difficult to navigate. For me, peace, in this sense, is that somewhat calm feeling, even in the midst of great stress and worry. Without that peace, I am not sure where I would be.

I am so thankful for that peace too. I was recently meditating on John 14:27 where Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you.” That is so good.
